Technical Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Technical Architect to help us design the very best Microsoft Cloud and Hybrid infrastructures for our varied clients.

In this role, you will be working very closely with our Client Engagement team, Growth team and our Project delivery teams, from pre-sales support through to planning and therefore you should be an excellent communicator. Someone who can translate complex client requirements into functional architecture designs whilst being able to communicate this effectively with people at all technical levels. We’d also like you to have hands-on experience and be able to sit confidently across the table with our clients as well as with our own people at a senior level.

Your goal will be to ensure that our solution designs for our clients are elegant, modern, and effective whilst at the same time providing real time support for our Engagement and Growth Team colleagues, therefore reducing the initial burden currently being placed on our Project Delivery Teams by delivering excellent quality pre-sales support.

Responsibilities

Translation of client requirements into functional technology designs
Provide guidance regarding best practice Microsoft Cloud and Hybrid architecture design including Azure and Microsoft 365
Working with our Commercial Teams to ensure accurate cost modelling
Creation of accurate and professional documentation to support solution designs
Supporting and developing our internal teams with advanced technical knowledge

Ability to easily convey technical requirements in plain English
To act as an effective conduit between our Engagement, Growth, and our Delivery teams

Requirements and skills

Proven experience in a Technical Architect or Design role
Experience of building Cloud solutions on Azure
Experience in a client facing role
Understanding of strategic IT solutions
Experience in project management or delivery
Excellent communication skills
Excellent documentation skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Strong organisational and time management skills
Great with people
